Keeps Senior Management Informed : by reporting regularly to the General Manager Of Engineering and other members of the Production Group verbally and in writing in order to report progress, issues, results, and improvement ideas. Common Job Functions Contributes to Team Effort by covering for other Staff as needed; by assisting in the transition of new Staff; by following internal policies and procedures; and by communicating business-related information to relevant Staff and Management. Ability to verbally communicate. Mathematical Skills Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Other Skills Experience In the cutting tools industry or similar manufacturing industry desired. Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, set up procedures, control settings, and machining methods and sequences.
