Responsibilities
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Contact Center Specialist to provide a high-quality experience for our patients and physicians. As the first point of contact, you will handle various patient needs, including scheduling, registrations, access to information, and appointment confirmations. Your role will be crucial in ensuring seamless communication and support across our entire medical institution, including the hospital, Medical Group, College of Medicine, and all other locations.
Responsibilities:
Provide essential telephone coverage Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, and every 5th weekend, year-round.
Manage inbound phone queues for the Careline, MD Network, MD Network Pediatrics, and Patient Relations.
Engage with patients and physicians via phone and electronic mail, delivering excellent customer service.
Accurately process a high volume of calls, determining caller needs and assisting or redirecting them appropriately.
Maintain efficiency with all departmental processes and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Proficient in departmental processes and software (Centaurus, Smart Web, Cerner, PowerChart, Outlook, Decision Tree, Microsoft folders).
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
High service excellence with patients, partners, and team members.
