Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Director to join our organization and oversee our financial planning, operations, and strategy. The Finance Director will play a pivotal role in guiding financial decisions, ensuring financial health, and driving growth through effective financial management practices. This leadership position requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of financial operations and regulations.
Roles And Responsibilities
Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and risk management.
Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances and identifying areas for improvement or cost reduction.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls, maintaining accurate and timely financial records.
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions to support audit processes, tax compliance, and financing activities.
Provide strategic guidance and support to department heads and senior management on financial decisions, investments, and resource allocation.
Conduct financial modeling, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing to assess financial impacts and inform strategic planning.
Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to the board of directors, executive team, and stakeholders.
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the finance department.
Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree, CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred).
Proven experience as a Finance Director, CFO, or senior finance role with a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive financial management experience.
Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations, with expertise in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
Experience in strategic financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a diverse team and collaborate effectively across departments.
Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances.
