Our North Houston client is seeking an Oil and Gas Recruiter to join their team as a key contributor, supporting ongoing HR and Recruitment initiatives. They are seeking an insightful individual capable of engaging with individuals across all organizational levels and external stakeholders. You will play a pivotal role in balancing the organization's needs, business requirements, and candidate satisfaction. As an ambassador for potential hires, you will work diligently to enhance our brand and foster lasting connections with top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts across a diverse range of positions, including leadership roles.
  • Coordinate sourcing activities, gather feedback from hiring managers, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations by maintaining accurate applicant tracking records.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding processes by keeping HR informed of new hires and ensuring background checks are completed promptly.
  • Generate actionable data for affirmative action reporting while adhering to recruitment best practices.
  • Implement data-driven recruitment strategies and metrics to enhance performance and training initiatives.
  • Solicit feedback to continually refine candidate experiences and interview processes.
  • Develop and uphold hiring policies that reflect our organizational values and culture.
  • Proactively engage candidates and utilize effective interviewing techniques to identify the best fit for our team.
  • Provide guidance and training to managers on effective and legally compliant hiring practices.
  • Conduct pre-onboarding reviews and ensure compliance with HR policies and legal requirements.
  • Perform regular recruitment audits to maintain process integrity.
  • Collaborate with HR colleagues on compliance audits and special projects as needed.
  • Foster positive employee relations by maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating fairness and approachability.
  • Offer backup support across HR functions to meet business needs.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of recruitment management, supervisory, or leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in local and federal labor laws relevant to hiring processes.
  • Knowledge of employment laws such as EEOC, EPA, and ADA preferred.
  • Strong discretion and attention to detail with confidential information.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and HRIS systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
