Talent Consultant Group is partnered with a client that is looking to add CEI Senior Project Engineer to their growing teams.

We have opportunities in both Jacksonville and Orlando.

The CEI Senior Project Engineer directs highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection programs; plans and organizes the work of subordinate and staff members; develops and/or reviews policies, methods, practices, and procedures; and reviews programs for conformance with FDOT standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for communicating effectively with the company, FDOT, and staff members.
  • Responsible for overall field contract management, administration and coordination on Interstate/Highway Construction projects.
  • Technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating construction engineering assignments involving unique or controversial problems which significant affect major corporate programs.
  • Responsible for monitoring assigned staff to determine that the contractor's activities are monitored and controlled in accordance with design specifications and contractual requirements.
  • On-site liaison between Client, Company Personnel and Contractor I in resolution of project issues.
  • Act as a specialist in the application of advanced concepts, principles, techniques and procedures for an assigned area of responsibility.
  • Analyze complex construction/design problems requiring the development of new or improved techniques or procedures and consults with design engineering personnel.
  • Represents project(s) at meetings and conferences.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • State of Florida Professional Engineer for Complex Bridge Projects
  • FDOT Advanced MOT; Pass the CTQP examination. Attend the CTQP Quality Control Manager course and pass the examination
