Senior Sales Analyst

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

a)

Support Team with ad hoc reports as required and monthly reporting requirements i.e. Buying Group Sales, Defective Percentages.

b)

Prepare monthly Channel Performance vs. Economic Data analysis i.e. New Construction vs. Housing Starts, Traditional Retail vs. Existing Home Sales

c)

Manage pre-sales estimate process, identify major changes in monthly updates.

d)

Create & maintain Key Customer Guide

e)

Responsible for sales team processes i.e. new rep setup, account assignment changes, maintain customer data/mapping integrity.

f)

Prepare monthly customer sales reports for rebate purposes.

g)

Update and maintain SG (Sales Guide) letters and customer commercial agreements.

h)

Support National Account Managers with trade show logistics, customer meeting preparation, new product listings, maintenance & creation of planograms.

i)

Investigate Regional/Territory analytics for Area Sales Managers help analyze regions/territories using MapPoint.

j)

Provide sales forecast and performance reporting for the channels.

k)

Develop and maintain a key customer POS and inventory trend tracking mechanism.

l)

Act as liaison between and among field sales, marketing, supply chain, and other functional units.

m)

Track and monitor monthly budgets and update accordingly.

n)

Coordinate and assist in market level and key distributor level strategic planning.

o)

Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

a)

Secondary education in Business or a related field (Statistics, Mathematics, etc.).

b)

Minimum of five years of experience in sales operations.

Required Qualifications

a)

Business acumen and basic finance skills

b)

Strong computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

c)

Excellent presentation and negotiating abilities

d)

Strong leadership skills, including emotional intelligence and professional maturity

e)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications

a)

A bachelor's degree, preferably in Business

b)

Direct experience in sales or marketing

c)

A background including data mining / data management.

Environmental Conditions

Typical office environment. Hybrid office with expectations to be in office 3 days per week.
