About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Di Bruno Bros. - Rittenhouse Square. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and filling food orders according to company specifications and recipes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Assemble, organize, prepare, and fill food orders in a timely fashion, adhering to company specifications and recipes.
  • Order Fulfillment: Prepare and fill orders accurately based on production schedules, ensuring high-quality food items are prepared according to standardized recipes and instructions.
  • Inventory Management: Follow proper handling, preparation, and holding guidelines to maintain food quality, minimize over-production, and waste.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrate strong communication skills, collaborate with team members, and assist in meeting performance goals set by the Managing Director of Culinary, Executive Chef, and Sous Chef.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure safe operating procedures of all equipment, utensils, and machinery, and attend daily briefings and safety meetings.
  • Work Environment: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company standards and expectations.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-volume food industry setting.
  • Culinary Skills: Strong knife skills, understanding of all cooking methods, and previous experience working with knives in a culinary environment.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work a rotating schedule based on business needs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and count accurately to complete all documentation.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to move or handle product and supplies throughout the store and kitchen.
