Opening with our client for a Commercial Business Manager. Our client is a leading provider of tankless hot water heaters, and HVAC units, serving the commercial building industry in Northern California. With a commitment to innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a driven and experienced Commercial Business Manager to join their team.

As the Commercial Business Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the sales of products for new commercial building projects in the Northern California region. This role involves building and nurturing relationships with builders, architects, contractors, and other key stakeholders. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with internal engineers to ensure our products are tailored to meet project specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth within the assigned region.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with commercial builders, architects, contractors, and other industry professionals.
  • Provide technical assessment and equipment recommendations for commercial
    customers' mechanical systems and processes
  • Work closely with internal engineering teams to ensure our products meet the technical requirements of commercial building projects.
    market programs to meet customer's changing requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement and business expansion.
  • Oversee day-to-day commercial technical sales operations, including pricing, quoting, and contract negotiation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer needs and ensure a seamless sales process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct commercial sales experience with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Experience in commercial business development (including specifications, sizing, recommendations), preferably within the Hot Water/Boilers and commercial building industry
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex product specifications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Minimum of 75% travel wthin Northern California region
