Investment Banking Analyst/Associate

Cabrera Capital Markets, LLC is seeking an Analyst or Associate to support our Public Finance Investment Banking team in all aspects of new business development and transaction execution. The Analyst or Associate will assist in deal execution, cash flow modeling, the preparation of presentations, proposals and debt profiles for municipal and not-for-profit issuers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Assist with generating debt profiles to provide bankers with an overview of a clients debt position and historical financing trends
+ Formulate client presentations, pitch books, and responses to Requests for Proposals
+ Provide quantitative analyses including financial forecasting, cash flow analysis, and bond sizing
+ Assist bankers in the execution of new issue transactions including documentation, pricing, presentations to investors and rating agencies, and deal closing coordination
+ Monitor market conditions to apply new financing and optimization strategies based on clients financing needs
+ Research projects related to regulatory, legal, policy or client-specific issues
+ Attend meetings with the banking team and provide information
+ All other duties as assigned
Requirements
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance or similar
+ Analyst: 1 -2 years of previous experience as a Public Finance Analyst
+ Associate: 2 - 4 years of previous experience as a Public Finance Analyst
+ Licenses: FINRA SIE, Series 52, Series 63 (or within 90 days of hire)
+ Advanced analytical skills with attention to detail
+ Works well and seamless with team members both in the office and in the regions
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Must be self-motivated and possess strong time management
+ Advanced proficiency with DBC Finance, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
