Send your resume to CSTARs4Therapy@gmail.com RESPONSIBILITIES: • Evaluate and utilize appropriate standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of speech and communication disorders • Develop new and modify existing communication goals (IEP and IFSP goals, if appropriate) • Establish treatment goals and implement age-appropriate plans of care (via active IEP, IFSPs if appropriate) • Perform daily documentation, update treatment plans, and produce regular progress reports • Update patient progress to both families and early intervention staff • Implement and keep current with evidence-based practices • Work with a team of dedicated therapists focusing on Making Everyday Differences in the lives of children and their families QUALIFICATIONS: - Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply - Previous experience in pediatric Speech-Language Pathology is preferred - Familiarity with communication, phonological, and oral motor disorders - Ability to build rapport with clients, their families/caregivers, and colleagues - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Positive, patient, and fun demeanor - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Excellent computer skills for documentation - Ability to work well in a dynamic clinic setting - Ability to work well one-on-one and with co-treatment scenarios BENEFITS: · Flexible scheduling · Formal mentorship · Earn Paid Time Off (PTO) monthly · Earn CEU monies · Quarterly in-services: Therapy in Practice (TiPs) · Travel reimbursement · Phone reimbursement · Health insurance stipend · Paid professional liability insurance · Professional license renewal · Matching 401K School-based Therapy and Resources (STARs) was established in 2009 with an emphasis on school-based and early intervention pediatric physical therapy services. In 2016, STARs opened Community-STARs (C-STARs) an outpatient pediatric therapy clinic for children ages 0-21 years old.
