POSITION INFORMATION

Datalogic is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Controller to join our Planning & Control in Calderara di Reno (BO). The position will be a key member of the team in the analysis of the overall group performance and in the development of business partnership with the assigned functions.

ROLE MISSION

Reporting directly to the FP&A Manager the role will be mainly responsible for supporting the activity of reporting for the Board of Directors and for the company management, ensuring the analysis of variances against budget and forecasts, monitoring expenditures, with respect to P&L, KPIs, and investments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monthly and quarterly analysis and reporting according to Company deadlines
  • Support Budgeting and Forecasting activities for expenses and investments
  • Support monthly closing process for the managerial reporting and perform ad-hoc analysis on financial monthly/quarterly results, reconciliations and reports as needed
  • Support financial analysis and reporting for Corporate Functions and act as a business partner for the managers of the assigned functions to identify areas of improvement/cost optimization.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Educatio: Bachelor/Master Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields
Primary Language: Fluent English, written and verbal
Experience: at least 3 years of proven controlling/FP&A expertise in complex multinational environments where control department is deeply involved into the business.

OTHER INFORMATION & SPECIFIC SKILLS
  • Good Accounting knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of the main MS Office tools, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
  • Detail-oriented, precision and strong analytical skills
  • High organized and reliable method with ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work proactively and in a support role in a fast paced and challenging context
  • Team worker with attitude in identifying opportunities and anticipating changes
  • Curious and willing to learn new things.
Would be considered as a plus:
  • Knowledge of SAP and Power-BI
  • Strong IT competencies.
