Project Scheduler/Assistant

As a Project Scheduler/Assistant Extraordinaire, you will play a critical role in supporting project managers in coordinating and scheduling tasks, resources, and deliverables across a diverse range of industrial automation projects. Your expertise in project planning and organizational skills will be pivotal in ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

? Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules, utilizing tools such as Microsoft Project, IFS or Smartsheet, ensuring alignment with project objectives and milestones.

? Assist in resource allocation and management, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the availability of resources required for project execution.

? Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays, proactively communicating with stakeholders and implementing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

? Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, meeting minutes, and action items, ensuring all project stakeholders have access to up-to-date information.

? Provide administrative support to project managers, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements, enabling efficient project management operations.

Requirements:

? Organizational Expertise: Demonstrated experience in project scheduling and coordination, preferably in an engineering or industrial environment.

? Tech Savvy: Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, or similar tools, along with skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Business Systems (IFS, Oracle or SAP).

? Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.

? Effective Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate project status updates clearly and concisely.

? Ideally, project scheduling certification, project management certification or related certifications.
