The Equipment Documentation Specialist is in a challenging and fast-paced environment. The Equipment Documentation Specialists will have familiarity with all-types of term loan documentation packages, including equipment, unsecured lending, and occasionally commercial real estate.
The Equipment Documentation Specialist is responsible for creating contracts and assisting with the contract cycle and credit underwriting life cycle, ensuring the appropriate agreements or legal forms are executed and retained in accordance with bank approvals, policies, and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage due diligence, legal documents, and closings for term loan transactions
Generate legal loan documents. Utilize document automation software to create agreements, amendments, letters, and other instruments
Gather and organize required document packages
Oversee the execution and closing of transaction documents
Work closely with other departments for document requests and coordinate between legal, credit, and lending departments
Ensure proper authentication and execution of all legal documents
Provide secure storage of legal files; document indexing, filing, and maintenance
Review organizational documents and agreements
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
•
Associates degree or higher required, or equivalent work experience
•
1-3 years of documentation and/or secured transactions experience, preferred
•
Experience in commercial lending and/or transportation finance, a plus
•
Experience in commercial leasing and equipment finance, a plus
•
Experience with DocuSign and/or LaserPro, a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements :
•
Attention to detail and quality is required; self-directed
•
Familiar with secured and unsecured transactions/commercial and lease lending
•
Excellent organizational and project tracking skills
•
Strong computer skills including Micro Soft Office; willing to learn new software applications
•
Must be able to multi-task at a high level
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quick turnaround requirements/ deadlines
