Job Details Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Bachelors Degree Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Daytime Job Category: Professional / Experienced Description Lead Revenue Analyst (Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, Smithfield, Rhode Island): Use the organization's financial systems including the general ledger to reconcile and analyze revenue. Interact frequently with key stakeholders to reconcile member level information between departments, the Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS), and other external entities as needed. Specific Responsibilities will include: Verify the accuracy of revenue for external sources including the State of Rhode Island, the Rhode Island Executive Office of Health and Human Services (HealthSourceRI), and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Responsible for understanding new rate contracts with EOHHS and CMS, as well as rate comparison analysis. Work with Enrollment on all activities related to the reconciliation of member level data that impacts revenue recognition. Work with Medical Management on all activities related to the reconciliation of member level data that impacts revenue recognition. Serve as Revenue Lead for all audits including meeting with external auditors. Lead the preparation of budget and quarterly forecast activities and input all revenue changes into Oracle EPM. Assist with quarterly revenue reporting to the State of Rhode Island and Milliman US (the organization's actuarial firm). Prepare the monthly revenue reporting package. Update policies and procedures. Participate and take lead in team projects when assigned. Responsible for complying with Neighborhood's Corporate Compliance Program, Standards of Business Conduct, applicable contracts, laws, rules and regulations, and policies and procedures as they apply to individual job duties, the department, and the organization. This is a hybrid position working 4 days per week at the office in Smithfield, RI and 1 day per week from a home office within commuting distance to Smithfield, RI. Position requires less than 5% domestic travel. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related analytical field and 1 year of experience in an occupation performing financial analysis. Must also have: (I) During experience required above, must have had exposure performing finance and audit analysis and meeting with external auditors for healthcare and/or insurance industry clients; (II) Track record performing financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial analysis, Key Performance Indicator Scorecard (KPI), and Dashboard and Data Visualization; (III) Knowledge of (a) the flow of revenue for all lines of a business; and (b) financial statement preparation; (IV) Background with: (a) Excel and general ledger software; (b) analytic software including SQL, SAS, Tableau, and/or Cognos; and (c) ERP software; (V) Track record of demonstrating strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills; (VI) Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and a track record communicating clearly and effectively.
