Auto Damage Claims Adjuster

Auto Damage Claims Adjusters handle auto claims through the life-cycle including but not limited to: investigation, evaluation and claim resolution. The purpose of this position is to provide service to agents, insureds and others to ensure claims resolve accurately and timely.
Responsibilities
+ Investigate assigned claims, confirm coverage, and verify damages
+ Take loss reports directly from insureds and/or claimants and/or their representatives
+ Initiate initial claims handling
+ Evaluate, setting and recommending reserves
+ Negotiation and settlement of claims
Requirements
+ Associates or bachelors Degree preferred
+ 3 to 5 years of experience adjusting automobile physical damage and liability claims
+ Possess excellent oral and written communication skills via in person, on the phone, and in electronic interactions
+ Excellent understanding and skill level of claim handling and customer service
+ Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills
+ VT and NH Property & Casualty adjusters license or the ability to obtain licensing preferred
+ Commercial Lines experience a plus
