ChampionX has an immediate need for a Procurement Representative - Digital Acceleration located in Sugar Land, TX. This role will support ChampionX's operations of Procurement and report directly to the Director of Procurement.

This professional will be supporting the operations of Procurement. Aligned with the priorities of safety, service and savings, this person will be supporting the following areas: compliance, projects, master data, systems and will work closely with colleagues in other regions to assure alignment to a global CSP & Procurement digitalization vision. This is an excellent role for someone looking for working closely with colleagues in other regions to assure alignment to a global digital Procurement roadmap, leading projects, growing in a broad array of areas and interact with many other functions including manufacturing plants, finance, accounts payable, Internal Audit, regulatory services and IT/ Digital Teams.

You work with key stakeholders to design, build, transform, and operationalize a new array of procurement solutions supported by emerging technologies such as RPA, source to Pay platforms, S4 Hana, enhance and procure to pay processes and system issues.

You help Procurement and stakeholders translate their business requirements into a prioritized set of value- rich automation.

You are part of the Global Procurement Operations Team driving strategic initiatives and tangible value that can support our company strategic objectives like sustainability, corporate social responsibility, continuous improvement, and digitalization.

You will be responsible for leading project execution of strategic initiatives across the procurement organization in all regions to improve speed, reliability, safety and quality of our data and processes.

What You Will Do:

Digital Transformation (50%)
  • Support Procurement Digital Projects (MyChampionX Platform). Key facilitator acting as a bridge between the stakeholders and Digital Teams. You will identify and analyze business requirements and processes, identify potential automation opportunities, and propose and execute a roadmap. This includes producing, analyzing, validating, and documenting business, organizational and/or operational requirements.
  • Effectively partners with team members to complete assigned projects.
  • Foster relationships and engages in regular communications within the department, IT and the organization at large in the areas of issue resolution, status updates and their effect on end users. Acts as liaison between the end user and the technical team facilitating requirements gathering sessions, sets expectations and coordinates team members utilizing effective teamwork and collaborative skills.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technology, process trends and methodologies and seeks out innovative technologies to provide solutions that improve productivity, workflow, production, efficiency & effectiveness.
S4 HANA Project (40%)
  • Accountable and responsible for rolling out the future SAP based solution (Global Template) for the procure to Pay (P2P) solution including requirements gathering, analysis/ design workshops, define solution design that meets business goals. development, data collection/ conversion/ governance, UAT coordination and execution, cutover activities, hypercare.
  • Participate in the development of solution design documents, functional design documents, test plans and test scripts.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements, contribute to the identification of opportunities (processes, people) to improve project delivery.
  • Execute end to end testing for procure to pay functionalities.
Procurement Operations Support Platform (10%)
  • Ensure all requests are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Enable efficient categorization and prioritization of issues and or requests, allocate resources effectively and resolve critical issues first.
  • Facilitate collaboration among different stakeholders involved in the procurement process by assigning tickets to relevant individuals or department reducing confusion and ensuring accountability.
Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Education and Experience:
  • Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or Finance. Or in process of completing an advanced degree
  • Interest in designing and deploying solutions to transform business processes.
Additional Experience:
  • Procurement or Compliance experience
  • Change Management strategy knowledge and experience in supporting transformational business programs.
  • Strong and effective communication and leadership skills, demonstrating traits such as persuasiveness, negotiation skills, conflict management and resolution techniques.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to work with good judgement.
  • Strong organization, sense of urgency, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proven hands-on experience in SAP S4 Hana- Primary module MM (Procurement).
  • Robotic Process Automation experience is a plus.
