  • Responsible for negotiating, structuring, and/or administrating contractual documents that establish business relationships with vendors, customers and partners.
  • Works with sales and service teams as well as the legal department to structure contracts.
  • nalyses contracts to ensure compliance to company policy, government specifications and other requirements.
  • Duties are varied and complex, including research, analysis, solution development, original drafting of commercial terms.
  • Execute and manage all contracts for one or more customer channels/segments.
  • Provide contract expertise when participating with cross-functional teams regarding contract tactics, bids, terms, and customer compliance.
  • Contributes expertise in contract strategy meetings to identify issues and customer requirements.
  • Liaising between parties regarding contract development, and negotiations regarding terms and conditions, and drafting and revising changes as required.
  • Manage the contract database, as well as monitor contracts expirations and milestones.
  • Negotiate custom contract terms, conditions and follow up to ensure execution according to the negotiated terms.
  • Identifying potential risks contract changes may pose to the company.
  • Independent contract negotiation directly with customers which can include virtual meetings and/or travel to Customer sites.
  • Provides direction on issues within an area of expertise and assists department leadership in setting strategic direction.
  • Requires a detailed understanding of contract law and the ability to apply that knowledge independently, including the regular use of originality and ingenuity.
  • Maintain contracted pricing in ERP system.
  • Project-manage resolution of unprecedented invoice issues.
  • Ensuring relevant documentation accompany contracts, and maintaining digital copies of relevant documentation.
