Join Our Team as a Veterinary Receptionist

Are you a passionate animal lover with a knack for exceptional customer service? Our busy, state-of-the-art veterinary clinic is looking for an enthusiastic individual to be the face of our practice. We're seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with animals and their owners, has strong communication and phone skills, and is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with computers. As a receptionist, you will manage and fill our appointment schedule, maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient records, and ensure the daily schedule runs smoothly and efficiently. While experience is a plus, we're happy to train the right candidate who is professional, has a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you

Job Responsibilities:
  • Checking patients in, discharging patients, invoicing
  • Provide customer service such as greeting customers, answering questions, processing incoming patients, and handling payments
  • Answer phone calls which may include answering questions, scheduling appointments and recording messages for doctors and staff
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email
  • Update and file patient charts
  • Enter data into computerize billing program
  • Retrieve prescriptions
  • Assist with pet supply purchases such as food, supplements, and grooming items
  • Maintain the cleanliness of waiting room
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stoop, bend, and stand on feet for long periods
  • Retail sales
