Network Technician

Our client is hiring 2 Network Technicians on a direct-hire or contract-to-hire basis in Thornton, CO. The pay is $35-40/hour, depending on experience.

Role Descriptions:
Cabling Team - This position will be part of the District's low-voltage cabling team. It will be primarily responsible for pulling new network cables, troubleshooting/repairing existing network cables, and terminating and testing network cables for various network systems and components around the district. The systems include but are not limited to, intercom speakers, security cameras, wireless access points, UPS systems, and VoIP infrastructure.
This position might also help with pulling, terminating, and testing fiber.
Description of the ideal candidate:
The ideal candidate will have general experience and knowledge of network cabling, wireless, VoIP, and network infrastructure. The candidate will also be experienced working in Data centers, MDF/IDFs, and field sites installing, configuring, troubleshooting / testing, and replacing devices.
