We offer service programs and support to meet a broad range of needs for children, adults, and families – from physical, mental, and intellectual to residential, vocational, and spiritual. JOB TITLE: Mental Health Manager and Trainer PRIMARY DUTY: General oversight and supervision for the IPR and Peer Support services to ensure all IPR and Peer Support services meet program requirements and operate within established budgets. The manager is also responsible for the management of staff, including hiring, firing, training, and supervision. This position is responsible for coordinating and facilitating mental health training for the agency. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the hiring process, orientation, training, supervision, and evaluation of assigned staff in accordance with Hope Haven Policies and Procedures. Responsible that managed services meet applicable licensing and/or accreditation standards/requirements. Work closely with Director of Mental Health Services to ensure assigned programs operate within established budgets. Manage the implementation and/or the development of policies and procedures required to meet the needs of the programs as they relate to standards associated with CARF, Chapter 24, MCOs, Regions, etc. Be primary contact for Chapter 24 audits and ensure that requirements are met. Ensure that goals, objectives, and interventions for peer support and IPR are reflected in the client’s individual service plan and electronic health record. Conduct regular and ongoing quality assurance reviews to monitor the development and implementation of service plans, service delivery, and documentation of services. Overall supervision of “program care” in each service setting to assure individual client needs are being met. Work with intake manager and applicable admission teams to ensure that referrals are interviewed and enrolled for services in a timely manner. Facilitate monthly team meetings for IPR Practitioners and Peer Support Specialists. Develop and teach required mental health training to agency staff, as needed. Coordinate mental health training schedule in collaboration with other trainers. Be actively involved in leadership training. QUALIFICATIONS: MSW, MA, or MS in an approved Human Service Field or a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services Field with 3+ years’ experience working with individuals with mental health concerns. Good communication (verbal and written), organizational and leadership skills. Demonstrate good, sound, moral values and be able to exercise sound judgment leading to good decision making. Ability to complete Hope Haven courses and/or required orientation training and all other agency requirements. Possess a valid Driver’s License, have access to a reliable automobile and be an insurable driver with our insurance company. Ability to pass a health assessment at time of hire and ability to maintain up to date health assessment as requested per regulations.
