Founded in 1921, with multiple manufacturing facilities strategically located throughout North America, we support original equipment manufacturers (OEM's) who build their industrial equipment in North America by supplying them with superior customer service and quality contract metal manufacturing.Located in Lawrence, the Indianapolis plant focuses on multi-step processing of components and welded fabrications for long-term OEM partners, including manufacturers in the aerial lift, lift truck and rail industries. Our Indianapolis facility is ISO certified and has burning machines, laser cutters, CNC mills, saws, manual welding and robotic welders.DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyze and evaluate customer prints and specifications to determine best production methods considering cost and quality.Assist other associates in the facility as needed in the development of new business with existing customers.Help to assure that we retain business that is profitable, sustainable and collectable.Interact with O'Neal procurement personnel as needed.Interact with sales and business development personnel at other O'Neal subsidiaries.Travel as needed to accomplish desired results. Overnight travel may be required occasionally.Apply the principles used in the pricing strategies of the division.Work collaboratively with Sales Manager and/or Account Manager to assure accurate and timely proposals to the customer.Work collaboratively with Production Manager and Manufacturing Engineers to assure accurate estimates of manufacturing costs.Participate in technical discussions with internal associates or our client's personnel.Communicate status of analysis projects and assure that agreed upon deadlines are met.Interact with the O'Neal Sales process tools as needed.May assist in creating formal presentations to existing customers.May assist in the preparation and organization of the planned business review meetings with customers.Have a general understanding of the financial performance of the facility.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree in engineering or a related field or may be pursuing such degree.
