Reports to: Surgery Manager
POSITION SUMMARY: Performs a variety of clerical duties in the Surgery Department under the general supervision of the Surgery Manager including but not limited to handling phone calls, scheduling, preparing charts, supply ordering and control.
ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE: Part-time benefited, 20 hours weekly, Monday -Friday 4 hour shifts
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
- Required: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Preferred: 1+ years of clerical experience
- Preferred: 2+ years of Medical experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service.
- Ability to learn various computer programs.
- Ability to complete daily tasks with frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Skill in using computer applications including spreadsheet, database, and word processing software.
