About the Role:

This is an onsite role located in Deerfield Beach, FL. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Accountant to join our team at The Learning Experience. As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain financial records and reports - monthly, quarterly and annual closing of corporate centers

Assist in the preparation of financial statements - bank reconciliations, voucher submissions, analysis of AR, accruals, prepaid amortizations and fixed assets

Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy - balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis

Process payroll for corporate employees

Maintain records of account entries by compiling and analyzing accounting activities, and maintaining the general ledger

Preparation of annual audit, filing annual reports, resolving tax notices, obtaining PR tax state ID's for new locations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

CPA certification is a plus

2+ years of accounting experience

Payroll experience required

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Netsuite software experience (desired)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
