and Design Position Priorities Responsibilities and Tasks Additional responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Preparation of traffic impact studies. Preparation of traffic models via traffic modeling software such as SYNCHRO. Development of design plans and specifications, cost estimates, and design details for construction documents for traffic signal, signing & striping, bicycle, and pedestrian facilities. Civil

Engineering/Traffic

and Design Position Priorities Requirements This position requires a combination of skills, experience, and education including, but not limited to: Interest and knowledge of the traffic and transportation field. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Possession of a Professional Engineering License in Civil Engineering Five or more years of experience as a Civil or Transportation Engineer in a consulting environment or public entity. Working knowledge of HCM, CA MUTCD, ADA, and relevant Caltrans design requirements. Working knowledge of engineering principles and techniques. Ability to teach and lead a small team of engineers. Exhibits initiative and the ability to work with little supervision. Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple simultaneous projects, if necessary. General understanding of MS Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HCS,

Synchro/SimTraffic,

or similar programs. Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Company Description At W.G.
