Ginger Cove is currently seeking a Full-time, Assistant Service Manager to support our Food & Beverage department.

The Food & Beverage Assistant Service Manager is responsible for working in accordance with established policies and procedures, and/or specific instruction from the F&B Director, and the F&B Service Manager. F&B Assistant Service Manager supports the overall supervision of all aspects of meal time service and the overall efficiency of the dining room, bar, sanitation and safety operations.

Essential Functions:

* Meets or exceeds residents, guests, and staffs expectations with available services.

* Supervision of the overall efficiency of dining room, bar and take out operations.

* Supervise schedules, evaluate, train, coach and develop all restaurant staff and supervisors.

* Supervise the organization and sanitation of restaurant, kitchen, storage and loading dock.

* Ensure the dining staff works safely and adheres to the policies and procedures.

* Maintains effective communication with managers, subordinates and all other coworkers.

* Participate in resident and employee satisfaction program and activities.

* Attend all in-services and staff meetings as required.

* Must be familiar with and complete training relating to Risk Management.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

* Associates or Bachelors degree in Restaurant Management, Hospitality, or related field preferred.

* ServSafe certification preferred or training must be completed within first 90-days of employment.

* Managerial experience in Hospitality industry preferred.

* Ability to supervise multiple dining rooms and large number of employees.

* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills.

* Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

* Current applicable food service license or certificate as required by state, local or federal regulations.

* Full Covid-19 vaccination required.
