**Plastics Manufacturing - Injection Mold Set-Up Technician - Entry Level Openings**

**Work Environment:** Climate-controlled facility - Automated and fast-paced work environment

**Experience/ Skills:**

Entry Level/ Apprentice Injection Mold position must be willing to learn and eager to learn

Experience in plastics manufacturing and with injection molding machinery preferred; machine set up, operation, preventative maintenance etc.

Basic Knowledge about molding machines, their operation, set up, care and maintenance

Knowledge of various plastic materials as well as hydraulic, electrical and mechanical understanding

**Job Duties:**

The Molding Set-up Technician sets/pulls molds in injection molding machines for startup by process technicians for production.

The Molding Set-up Technician also sets up machine auxiliary equipment to ensure proper part containment during production runs.

This position also assists with color changes and line clearances as required.

This position also requires the ability to plan and perform the sequence of operations and the making of major decisions, involving the running or stopping of molds.

**Starting Pay Rate:** $19- 22/hr. based on experience + shift differential

**Job Type:** Direct placement (permanent position)
