Job Summary:Performs general cleaning duties, policing of restrooms, halls and grounds, minor maintenance, grounds and snow removal work, and responds to building staff needs to maintain the functioning of the building and its programs. Works independently with no direct custodial supervision. Assists school administrators during emergencies and participates in the execution of building fire drills.

Starting Hourly Rate: Grade 5A: $19.05 - $29.97 DOE
Work Hours: 7.5 hours per day
Work year: 12 months
Bargaining Unit: Education Support Staff Association (ESSA)

Job Qualifications/Requirements (please review job description for qualifications and duties of the position):
  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. Working knowledge of minor maintenance processes.
  3. Depending on specific duties and work locations, a valid State of Alaska driver's license and the ability to receive and maintain access to military bases may be required.
