With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to add a HVAC Technician to our dynamic team. Scope of Work The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC/R systems in a Commercial/Facility Setting in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications. Compensation $23.00 - $32.00 per hour (Based on Experienced), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k (available after 1-year of service) Available Shifts 6:00am - 2:30pm, 2:00pm 10:30pm, 10:30pm - 6:30am. Days off to be Determined Duties Install, maintain, and repair HVAC/R systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC/R systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements of parts Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections of HVAC/R systems to ensure they operate at peak efficiency Test HVAC/R systems for proper functioning and perform necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance Respond to calls promptly and professionally, addressing client concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in all HVAC/R work, including handling refrigerants and other hazardous materials Document all work performed, including parts used, repairs completed, and maintenance tasks, ensuring accurate record-keeping Provide recommendations to clients regarding HVAC/R system upgrades, replacements, or enhancements to improve efficiency and performance Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget Requirements Must have a valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience - approvals and final decision is subject to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria Proven experience as an HVAC/R Technician in commercial and/or industrial HVAC/R settings, with a minimum of 3 years in installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC/R systems Proven experience as an HVAC/R Technician in commercial and/or industrial HVAC/R settings Certification or licensed as an HVAC/R Technician in New York, with a strong understanding of HVAC/R principles, practices, and regulations Knowledge of environmental regulations related to HVAC/R systems and refrigerants. (R-22, R-410A, R-134A) Certifications in specific HVAC/R systems or technologies (e.g., NATE certification) preferred but not required Proficiency in troubleshooting HVAC/R systems and using diagnostic tools and equipment Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team #J-18808-Ljbffr
