ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Develop cognitive, physical, social and spiritual programs that promote each residents’ quality of life Develop, lead and facilitate recreational programs appropriate for small and large groups, and one-on-one that promote resident satisfaction Plan, organize and implement resident outings and special events Develop, lead and facilitate intergenerational programs Create and distribute a monthly life enrichment calendar Complete a “Sharing Life’s Journey Questionnaire” for each resident upon move in Facilitate monthly Resident Council Meetings Tastefully decorate the community for holidays and events Plan and host community events for residents and families, coordinating with other departments Identify and coordinate a group of community volunteers for life enrichment activities Order life enrichment supplies within department budget Ability to inspire and motivate staff through consistent leadership, supervision and coaching Promote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors Perform any other duties as requested within the scope of responsibility and requirements of the job.
