For more information, please visit www.prolacta.com How you will contribute Core responsibility is supporting the Operations, Quality, Milk Resourcing, and Supply Chain teams. Ownership of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and Standard Costing. Become the COGS subject matter expert. Understand and communicate the trends and levers to help drive business decisions. Develop the quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and 5-year plan for assigned divisions. Maintain and develop all financial models related to Standard Costing by collaborating with business partners and refining assumptions. Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly internal reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. Prepare annual standard cost reporting and set up imports including supporting the Bill of Materials (BOM) process for the Accounting team. Perform monthly cost analyses comparing actual to standard variance for direct materials price and usage, direct labor, and overhead spending. Develop, maintain, and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed. Perform analysis of cost trends to provide management with reports comparing cost and profitability of product lines. Budget capital, analyze expenditures, track project updates, and maintain capital reporting systems. Communicate observations and improvements through analytics and thoughtful interpretation of findings. Support business leaders to derive business insights from data and translate into actionable business recommendations. Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity of documents, information, and interactions. What you bring to the role Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or other Business-related degree. 5 years minimum related experience. CPA/MBA preferred. Understands core accounting concepts. Proficient in Excel. Experience in Workday Adaptive Planning or similar forecasting tool preferred.
