About the job As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be involved from the initial stages of basic design through to the detailed design and production phases. Working with 2D design and 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Siemens NX, or Nupas Cadmatic, you will create and develop structural designs. Your role includes making technical assessments for manufacturability and feasibility, creating detailed engineering packages, analyzing and checking drawings, and providing creative, interdisciplinary solutions to complex problems. Responsibilities Collaborate with naval architects and FEM engineers from the beginning of the basic design through to the detailed design and production phases. Develop 2D designs and 3D models for yacht structures using AutoCAD, Rhino, Siemens NX, or Nupas Cadmatic. Conduct technical assessments considering manufacturability and feasibility in cooperation with other disciplines. Create detailed engineering packages based on basic design and technical specifications. Analyze and check drawings throughout the engineering to production and delivery process. Provide creative and interdisciplinary solutions to complex problems to support manufacturing. About you Education You have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering (or similar). Experience Successful candidates will demonstrate the following professional experiences and achievements: You have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar position.
