Summary of Essential Duties:+ Assists parents of newborns with completing information worksheets.+ Verifies all information is accurate and answer parents' questions about how to obtain birth certificates and other documents.+ Follows up with Nursing staff for missing information.+ Responds to record requests from Attorneys and court orders.+ Demonstrates superior patient interviewing skills. Interacts with patients and performs job duties with sensitivity and attention to the patient population(s) being served.+ Demonstrates collection skills. Able to determine and explain patient financial obligation and collect funds when appropriate.**The schedule for this position will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 8:00am – 4:40pm with Wednesday and Sunday off.****Qualifications**Education:+ High School Diploma or GED required+ Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred**Experience:**+ A minimum of 2 years of healthcare experience working in Patient Access or Revenue Cycle department, physician office, healthcare insurance company, and/or other revenue cycle related roles required+ Experience with Birth Records preferred+ Bilingual in Spanish preferred**About Us**Cedars-Sinai is a leader in providing high-quality healthcare encompassing primary care, specialized medicine and research.
