Yolo Federal Credit Union is looking for a highly-motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our leadership team as a Branch Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be comfortable with and/or willing to learn and master new and emerging banking technologies.

Possess moderate to advanced knowledge of financial concepts and products and services offered by the Credit Union, as well as knowledge of Credit Union Law and Regulations. Maintain strong working knowledge of employee roles and responsibilities in order to serve as an effective leader, role model and coach. Develop and implement strategies to capitalize on opportunities, highlight the benefit of our products and services over that of our competitor’s, and support overall credit union member services. Assess performance of all direct reports; reward and recognize strong performers and create development plans to address performance issues. Track and monitor trends and opportunities, identifying root causes and taking proactive steps to ensure success. Identify prospects for new membership relationships through professional networking events and membership development activities within the community. Lead and coordinate promotion activities, which include outbound calls and outside market efforts as needed, and direct promotions and member satisfaction goals and expectations.

Requirements: SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage 3 to 10 employees and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; working in concert with other managers; and effectively resolving issues with both staff and members.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) highly preferred, associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; completion of a minimum of one year in a supervisory capacity with multiple subordinates reporting directly to you; or at least one year experience as a manager in a financial institution or related business is required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating policies and procedure manuals. Ability to comprehend instructions, correspondence, memos, and loan documents. Ability to effectively prepare professional business correspondence, routine reports and evaluations as well as effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to the public, members, and other employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra in order to calculate figures and amounts such as rates, discounts, interest, ratios, and percentages.
