Marketing Content Coordinator

is responsible for coordinating fundraising initiatives, coordinating and disseminating of agency announcements, assisting with planning special events as well as creating content for the agency through storytelling, graphics, photos and other options that follow our marketing guidelines as well as handling some administrative tasks.

Marketing Content Coordinator

that would support the Chief Advancement Officer in implementation of campaigns and other marketing efforts. Must have two years of demonstrated success in a marketing and or fundraising role. High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor’s degree, preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred. Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supports the Chief Advancement Officer in implementation of campaigns and other marketing efforts. Assists in the coordination of fundraising initiatives through solicitation of individual monetary donations, corporate philanthropy and sponsorships, donor program development and implementation, and annual giving campaigns. Assists in the development, editing, and dissemination of external quarterly newsletters, annual reports, brochures, and other marketing and development-related documents. Coordinates the dissemination of announcements to local/regional media, including notifications of special events, PSA's and community calendar entries. Under the direction of the Chief Advancement Officer, serves as a point of contact for community business partners, provider organizations, and donor base. Supports cultivation and stewardship of new community partnerships. Assists in the planning process and day-of operations for community events. Responsible for coordinating community outreach materials and supporting program managers in preparing for outreach opportunities. Attends evening and weekend events as needed. Engages with and interviews consumers to support content marketing through storytelling. Assists in photo, video and story acquisitions. Acts as liaison between the marketing department and staff to identify, capture, create, and coordinate content to effectively promote the mission and impact of the organization. Attends community meetings and events, representing Independent Living, Inc. in the community as appropriate. Maintains and monitors agency websites and social media accounts, adhering to agency brand and best practices guidelines. Develops engaging content for the website, social media accounts, email marketing, events, and other marketing endeavors. Content may include photos, graphics, videos, audio content, blog posts, advertisements, activations, etc. Ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned. Excellent critical thinking and strategic planning skills, with the ability to identify areas of opportunity and set actionable steps to achieve goals. Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently to achieve departmental goals. Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing deadlines. Excellent written and verbal presentation skills. Exceptional attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to catch errors and inconsistencies in documents and communication. Excellent customer service, analytical, follow-up and follow-through, time management, and assertiveness skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint with preferred proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite, and basic graphic design tools, and a basic understanding of AI incorporation within these tools; creates visually engaging materials. Preferred proficiency in use of Key Performance Indicators to measure for success. Must have two years of demonstrated success in a marketing and or fundraising role. High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Bachelor’s degree, preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred.
