Primary Responsibilities:

•Analyze IT systems and solve problems relating to the company's technology needs

oWork with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand how well the IT system functions and identify potential areas for improvement

oSeek and evaluate user feedback

oDocument feature enhancements, issues and defects

•Ensure quality and robustness of IT systems

oPerform all aspects of validation and verification of IT systems, including integration, system, regression, performance and user acceptance testing

oEnsure quality standards and requirements are met by developing, executing and maintaining test plans, test cases and test scripts

oCollaborate closely with the development team to ensure business needs are satisfied and robust, user-friendly solutions are developed

oBe transparent and openly communicate project status

•Support software solutions in production

oWork with vendors, subject matter experts, end users and software developers to deploy and support business systems and processes

oBe an expert in the IT system's functionality, and a trusted resource of the user community

oTroubleshoot software issues

oDocument procedures and build user guides

oProvide support and training to software application users

General Responsibilities:

•Recommend and implement best practices to increase efficiency and reduce costs

•Communicate openly, share knowledge, build positive collaboration between departments and team members

•Support and contribute to department and company metrics

•Be actively engaged in continuous improvement projects and culture

•Adhere to, support and promote the Aagard vision and culture statements

•Demonstrate professional, respectful interaction with other team members

•Accurately and professionally represent Aagard to customers and vendors

•Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

•Associate's degree in computer science, IT or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

•Knowledge of the software development process, experience with Agile methodologies helpful

•Knowledge of business process modeling

•Ability to learn new software technologies

•Experience with documentation of processes

•Observant with attention to detail

•Ability to maintain confidentiality

•Ability to communicate with all levels of internal customers

•Technical training skills

•Previous experience with Microsoft platforms including Dynamics, SharePoint, and Power Platform helpful

•Proficient with Microsoft Office products

•Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment helpful, including exposure to CAD systems

•Self-starter, creative and problem solver

•Strong time management and organizational skills

•Passion for excellence
