Description

This role is for a Loan Servicing Specialist, with a focus on Commercial Loan Documentation. In this role you would be working on a team that embraces Continuous Improvement and is responsible for preparing loan documents as requested through our commercial lending channels. Experience with generating commercial loan documentation through LaserPro or other similar doc prep software desired. Candidates should be familiar with applicable governmental laws and regulations. This role will also work in other facets of the commercial production value stream; including loan boarding, collateral perfection and document imaging.

Location: Tower East - 5th Fl, 601 W 1st Ave, Spokane, WA, 99201.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday, 8:00am -5:00pm. This role is open to a hybrid work schedule that includes both remote and onsite work upon completion of training.

Essential Functions:

  • Audits and reviews loan documents for a variety of commercial loan products to ensure compliance with regulatory and policy issues.
  • Responsible for handling routine loan package requests from bank lenders and determining required documentation for specific loan type and conditions.
  • Orders and verifies supporting documentation. Reviews documents for accuracy and completeness. Manipulates systems and uses knowledge to create effective loan packages.
  • Prepares appropriate documentation for collateral to be pledged. Ensures accuracy and completeness for perfection and government regulations. Notifies lending officer of collateral deficiencies and/or exceptions to bank or government regulations.
  • Handle loan boarding and collateral perfection.
  • Effectively communicate with other departments in the Bank, collaborating with internal and external customers to ensure a successful customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of loan documentation, collateral perfection, and general loan servicing, as well as bank, federal, and state policies and requirements.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in a loan servicing or administrative environment is required. Experience as a Commercial Documentation specialist or a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of lending laws, regulations and business loan documentation. Knowledge of flood regulation is a plus.
  • Demonstrated accuracy in working with detailed data in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to and utilize systems and applications.
  • Strong telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize work projects to meet deadlines.

Pay Range: $17.56 - $26.37

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in Spokane, Washington. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
