This position is responsible for marketing, originating, processing, and closing all Community Housing Services Agency, Inc. (CHSA) loan products, building lending partnerships, and assisting in managing and training lending staff. Performs pre-loan counseling. Assist lenders and clients with the loan process. Performs complex financial calculations and analysis of household income, debt service, debt load, credit and financing options, including layered financing. Receives and processes program loan and grant applications. Verifies and documents information on applications. Coordinates and markets CHSA housing programs to prospective participants, lenders, employers and other partners. Serves as liaison between qualified applicants and lenders. Assists Executive Director with training Loan Officers and other staff in coordination and delivery of financing for housing programs. Provides information and assistance to clients. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Management, or related financial field; with four (4) years of experience in loan preparation and underwriting or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving history. Additional Requirements: Background investigation, including supervised drug screen, post offer/pre-employment medical screen; and verification of education, certifications, and licenses required prior to employment. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of loan servicing procedures, policies, and guidelines. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures. Knowledge of consumer protection laws. Knowledge of job-related software programs. Knowledge of computers and other modern office equipment. Skill in training and supervision of personnel. Skill in establishing priorities and organizing work. Skill in the operation of computers and other modern office equipment. Skill in public and interpersonal relations. Skill in oral and written communication. Supervisory and Management Responsibility: This position has functional supervision over loan officers or grants staff. Work Environment: The work is typically performed in an office. Physical Demands: The work is typically performed while sitting at a desk or table or while intermittently sitting, standing, or stooping.
