Program CNC Machines using Mastercam. Role is primarily programming but the chosen applicant will have CNC Machinist experience to understand the role Set up and operate a variety of machining equipment, such as lathes, mills, CNC machines, and grinders, to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. Analyze work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans to determine the machining process, tooling, and materials required for each project. Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of machines and tools, performing routine checks and adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to discuss project requirements, provide input on design for manufacturability, and troubleshoot any potential issues. Monitor machining processes to ensure product quality and adherence to tolerance standards, making necessary adjustments to maintain precision. Conduct thorough inspections of finished parts, using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, and make necessary corrections to meet quality standards. Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace. Continuously stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and machining techniques to enhance your skills and contribute to process improvements. Education and Experience Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining is a plus. Proven experience as a Machinist, demonstrating proficiency in operating various machining equipment and tools. Proven experience programming Mastercam Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate production. Knowledge of CNC programming and operation is a must. Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Adherence to safety regulations and best practices in machining. Physical fitness and the ability to lift, carry, and move heavy packages or medical equipment as needed. Willingness to undergo background checks, drug screenings, and comply with relevant safety regulations.
