A day in the life of a Proposal Specialist

Supports the pursuit of new business by managing, planning, organizing and coordinating elements of proposal development through submission Contributes to leadership and strategic direction for proposals and presentations Develops customized, creative

proposal/qualifications

layouts and presentations Works with pursuit team to prepare for new project

presentations/interviews Coaches and provides constrictive reviews to pursuit team members during presentation prep Coordinates and maintains high volume of data information for projects, team members, market sectors and project statistics Writes non-technical text & creates new project resumes and profile pages

Requirements for the Proposal Specialist position

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, Architecture plus 3 years of related experience 5+ years of professional experience managing, coordinating & writing proposals Demonstrated proficiency un Adobe InDesign and Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint Highly self-motivated, flexible and resourceful Detail oriented and organized with exceptional prioritization and time management skills Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines Excellent writing, grammatical and proofreading skills Strong graphic design abilities Travel (day trips) between Philadelphia and NYC office occasionally as needed
