A day in the life of a Proposal Specialist
  • Supports the pursuit of new business by managing, planning, organizing and coordinating elements of proposal development through submission
  • Contributes to leadership and strategic direction for proposals and presentations
  • Develops customized, creative proposal/qualifications layouts and presentations
  • Works with pursuit team to prepare for new project presentations/interviews
  • Coaches and provides constrictive reviews to pursuit team members during presentation prep
  • Coordinates and maintains high volume of data information for projects, team members, market sectors and project statistics
  • Writes non-technical text & creates new project resumes and profile pages

Requirements for the Proposal Specialist position
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, Architecture plus 3 years of related experience
  • 5+ years of professional experience managing, coordinating & writing proposals
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Highly self-motivated, flexible and resourceful
  • Detail oriented and organized with exceptional prioritization and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
  • Excellent writing, grammatical and proofreading skills
  • Strong graphic design abilities-InDesign
  • Travel (day trips) between Philadelphia and NYC office occasionally as needed
