Come join us on our journey to serve our customers and be the leader in our industry We are currently looking for a Junior Loan Processor to join our Constructive team. Reporting to the Processing Manager, the Junior Loan Processor is responsible for providing support to the loan processing team. The Junior Loan Processor will help prepare loan files for submission, collect documentation from clients, and ensure loan applications are accurate and complete. Additionally, the primary responsibilities of this role include placement and follow-up on third-party orders (appraisal, title, and insurance), reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of file contacts, and supporting loan processors with other assigned tasks. What you will do for Constructive Capital: Support loan processors, loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and other third parties to gather information as needed. Assist with organizing and preparing loan files for submission to underwriters and senior loan processors. Review and verify the accuracy of file contacts and all other information provided by borrowers and cross-check against documentation. Assist loan processors to ensure all customer files are complete and in compliance with regulatory agencies and internal policies. Place and follow up on appraisal, title, and insurance orders in a timely manner. Develop domain knowledge of Fay’s business to include an understanding of organizational objectives. Maintain broad influence through ongoing development of relationships across the organization. Ensure compliance with Fay’s policies, processes, and practices. Complete all department and company-required training. Model Fay’s Values, Operating Principles, ethical standards, professionalism, and code of conduct. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. What you will bring to Constructive Capital: High school diploma/GED strongly preferred 1+ years’ experience in the mortgage industry preferred 1+ years’ experience in loan processing preferred 1+ years’ experience in customer service preferred Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Collaborative work style; high team-orientation Open to change; agile; high learning agility Strong analytical skills coupled with sound judgment Strong problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize; effective time management Self-directed; ability to proactively ask questions and surface issues/ concerns Professional maturity, integrity, ability to maintain confidential data and information Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are deeply embedded into our way of working at Fay.
