Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hours/day

Hourly Range: $20-22 (Depending on experience)

Our physicians are board certified obstetricians and have received additional high-risk training and certification in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Job Summary:

As a Medical Office Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our medical practice. Your responsibilities will include managing daily administrative tasks, coordinating patient care, and providing exceptional customer service to our patients and their families. You will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, physicians, and staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration within the office.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
  • Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
  • Communicate with insurance companies for patient authorizations and eligibility
  • Prep patient charts and billing
  • Answer incoming calls, schedule patient appointments, and enter patient registration
  • Assist providers as needed with patient follow-up and communication
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
  • Familiarity with medical billing procedures
  • Experience with health insurance authorizations and eligibility verifications
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with an EMR system, preferably EPIC
  • Knowledge of Sharp Health Care insurance plans a plus
