RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process and verify financial and legal documents of vehicles to finalize sales deals.
• Prepare and process title and tax documents of vehicles
• Processing all titling documents through electronic vehicle registration program and/or DMV offices.
• Posting all titling transactions and monitor corresponding schedules.
• Prepare legal transfer documents to submit to the state motor vehicles department.
• Verify and analyze free-and-clear title issues, odometer reading and VIN number.
• Process and verify incoming titles accurately
• Ensure compliance of state, federal or local laws in processing titles
• Adhere to company guidelines and procedures in title clerical activities
• Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions

REQUIREMENTS:

• Automotive Dealership experience preferred
• Two+ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience a plus
• Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematics skills
• Dealertrack DMS experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly motivated self-starter capable of meeting time deadlines
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to multi-task in fast paced, high volume dealership
• Must be a team player with integrity and strong work ethics
