Job Summary

Under supervision of the Early Learning Director, the Program Manager will collaborate with the Early Learning team to provide coaching support, professional learning, and technical assistance related to increasing quality and access to all children in early Learning programs in districts/schools in Alameda County, while focusing on programs serving children with special needs. The Program Manager is also responsible for managing the deliverables and reporting aspects of early learning grants as assigned by the Early Learning Director.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Valid California Child Development Permit or a CA Teaching Credential (required)
Bachelor's degree (required) Master's Degree (preferred)
Minimum five (5) years of early learning experience at a county or district office or other organization leading successful early learning programing (required)
Experience with supporting students with disabilities and the implementation of successful inclusion strategies (required)
Experience supporting the interpretation and implementation of the California Preschool
Curriculum Frameworks and Common Core State Standards
Proven track record of delivering effective trainings and presentations
Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record
