Ahlstrom Filtration is looking for a dynamic Head of Sales individual for its Lab Life Science BU. This dynamic individual shall have a strong growth mindset coupled with collaborative leadership and proven sales results.
Purpose:
• To manage commercial activities for the LLS BU
• To ensure compliance (including local laws and regulations), Group culture, targets and policies respect and implementation, with particular focus on HSE as first priority
• To define customers and market strategy jointly with VP BU and execute it
• To support VP BU in defining Strategic and Annual Plan for LLS BU Sales
• To manage planning and monthly stock balance at Business Unit level
• To support VP BU in setting pricing strategy and perform price validation, working in close cooperation with VP Pricing and Commercial Excellence
• To ensure implementation of Group internal procedures
• To lead the Sales and Customer Service teams
• To ensure the achievement of sales & marketing KPIs
Main responsibilities
• To achieve sales operational targets and KPIs
• To set and coordinate sales, sales administration and planning procedures
• To implement and maintain sales administration controls
• To contribute to sales annual plan definition and ensure its successful cascading and execution
• To perform price validation for every customer
• To ensure the implementation of Group initiatives
• To manage direct sales responsibility for specific accounts
• To develop common sales performance improvements
• To build and maintain strong collaboration with internal and external key stakeholders
• To develop a high performance and continuous improvement culture within the team
• To promote good social climate and people engagement
Educations/Qualifications/Skills
- University Bachelor/Master degree in marketing, economics, engineering or equivalent
- Experience in Sales (minimum 10 years)
- Strong technical knowledge in coated specialties business, including market, production cycle and product development knowledge
- Fluency in English
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High level of initiative
- Strong drive for delivering results
- Good leadership skills
- Good understanding on end to end process
- Creative thinking and problem solving
- Ability to manage in complex, international environment
- Willingness to travel
