The candidate will collaborate closely with manufacturing and supply chain teams to procure materials, parts, and equipment necessary for production while maintaining cost-effectiveness and high-quality standards. This position requires a strategic thinker who can manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and analyze market trends to drive continuous improvement in our procurement strategies. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to determine material and equipment requirements for production. Identify and evaluating quotes for potential suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability criteria. Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous pricing and favorable terms. Monitor market trends and supply chain dynamics to anticipate potential challenges and opportunities. Implementing inventory optimization strategies within the company. Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. Resolve supplier performance issues and implement corrective actions as needed. Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure. Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to procurement and manufacturing. Generate and implement efficient sourcing and category management strategies. Manage the company's supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending Skills/Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred), Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment. Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes and materials. Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Proficient in using ERP systems and other procurement software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies a plus. IND 005-010
