What You Will Be Doing:
Join the J830 Quality North team at Lockheed Martin, where you will play a critical role in supporting the Final Production team for the F-35 program. As an Inspector, you will conduct thorough operational checks and in-process inspections on specialized systems to ensure our aerospace vehicles meet the highest standards of quality and compliance before delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect electronics systems (electronic and electro-mechanical) for operational accuracy and dependability, proper installation and alignment, tie-in with related systems and structure, and other specialized requirements, making final determinations as to acceptability for customer or Company re-flight.
Final flight release operational checkout of complete electronics systems where thorough knowledge of electronic theories, inspection procedures, the detailed make-up of the systems and their components and allowable deviations from established specifications is required.
May perform highly specialized laboratory inspection where complete knowledge of electronics theory and related inspection procedures are required.
Inspect work for quality, completeness, proper function, and adherence to specifications. Take decisive action to reject non-conforming items or order necessary rework.
Evaluate material review items for acceptability after disposition, ensuring compliance with established standards.
Document and report all non-conformances identified during inspections, supporting corrective actions and quality assurance processes.
Collaborate effectively with production counterparts and communicate issues with Engineering, Production, and Corrective Action personnel to resolve quality concerns promptly.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience as an Avionics inspector or technician on a Flight line or experience in general or military aviation maintenance.
Read and interpret Engineering drawings.
Use precision measurement equipment.
Use computer programs such as Word, Excel, etc..
Desired Skills:
Ability to read blueprints and other technical documents.
Experience working on fighter jets.
Quality experience in electrical/avionics inspection in aerospace.
Demonstration of positions that require high attention to detail.
6 years experience in Military or general aviation maintenance.
4 years experience as an Inspector on a production line
Associates Degree in Aviation Maintenance Program or equivalent.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
