Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Marketing and Event Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our Retail stores through effective retail marketing strategies and event coordination. Your primary focus will be to create the in-store experience. You will
partner with mall management, local luxury co-tenants, influencers, celebrity spokespersons, etc. This role will drive and manage events, create promotional materials, and ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives and activations.
Responsibilities:
Create a memorable in-store luxury experience
Leads the strategic development and planning of all in-store marketing and signage initiatives
Develops and manages weekly, monthly and annual strategic plans for all marketing and in-store signage based on merchandising initiatives, sales goals and shopper insights
Collaborate with account and merchandising team to develop marketing plans, displays, promotions and events that foster customer engagement, drive traffic and increase sales.
Directs the process for the entire in-store campaign planning and execution lifecycle from inception to completion including establishing budgets, writing business briefs to establish goals for each initiative for retail customers and internal merchandising staff, organize the production and distribution of marketing and POS collateral
Event Coordination: Plan, manage, and coordinate events, overseeing all aspects including project management, resource coordination, digital promotional material creation, logistics, and budget oversight.
Partnerships: Identify and coordinate event partnerships with relevant third parties; plan, execute, and manage budgets accordingly.
KPI Achievement: Ensure achievement of KPIs with ongoing optimization of strategy and planning.
Marketing Material Creation: Develop marketing materials including retail materials, in-store displays, and digital promotional materials.
Product Launch Coordination: Oversee product launch timelines and provide marketing support for retail stores.
Initiative Identification: Identify further initiatives and opportunities to support our retail stores on an ongoing basis.
Develop and implement strategies with marketing and sales team
Gather and analyze consumer behavior data in retail store traffic and rankings
Generate reports on marketing and sales metrics
Contribute to collaborative efforts to generate digital, print advertising and organize promotional materials
Develop all creative and marketing content in house utilizing graphic design programs
Analyze market trends and competitors’ methods and activities
Assist in setting brand standards, mission, and goals
Improve reach to customers through SEO and Advertisement campaigns
Lead in creation of SEO, content, and design strategies
Maintain and update records of marketing metrics and results of past campaigns
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or relevant field preferred
Ability to travel nationally up to 50% and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Superior graphic design skills in Adobe, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and all graphic design platforms required
Social Media management, retargeting and advertising skills required
Significant experience with SEO/SEM campaigns and digital tools
Superior computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, marketing technology applications such as web analytics and Google AdWords
Promotional video development and editing experience preferred
Up-to-date, very techie and hip on all latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently
Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of marketing digital tools and techniques
3-4 years of experience in event management, marketing, retail marketing, or related roles
Proficiency in event planning and project management with demonstrated coordination expertise.
Track record of success developing and executing event and partner marketing activations and campaigns to achieve sales goals.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of current consumer retail sales and industry trends
Strong understanding of the brand and retailer creative development and procurement process from concept to execution – in-store displays, selling event activations and promotional sales programs.
Excellent organizational and project management skills: work with cross-functional teams to deliver programs, manage multiple projects simultaneously, work on tight deadlines and keep all programs on schedule.
Flexibility to quickly adapt and align with business needs.
