Job Description:As an intern, you will gain valuable experience of working in a corporate environment and assist with day-to-day operations of a large corporate tax department. Duties will include preparing tax forms, assisting with many tasks using spreadsheet models, tax software and accounting ERP systems. This internship involves hands-on experiences which will provide opportunities for your personal success and development. The expected duration of this internship is 10-12 weeks with a start date of May 20, 2024. Responsibilities: Prepare corporate state and local income and franchise returns, extension requests, and estimated paymentsAssist in the preparation of documentation to support various tax return calculations and filing positionsRespond to income tax inquiries and assessmentsSpecial projects as assigned Qualifications:Must be a Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student in an accounting or similar program, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
