About The Company

At Tailorbird, we believe that real estate portfolios & renovations are inefficiently managed throughout the industry. Our vision is to enable portfolios & organize any renovation instantly by using analytics and automation to accelerate the most challenging workflows including asset management, budgeting, pre-construction and invoicing.

We're currently in hyper-growth mode and have a clear pathway to profitability. We are funded by NFX, Bloomberg Beta, Fifth Wall, Moderne Ventures, FJ Labs, and Kleiner Perkins.

We're a global organization with distributed teams in the US, Latin America and India. Our HQ is located on the campus of Princeton University in Princeton, NJ.About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager with a deep understanding of the construction industry and exposure to developing tech-intensive SaaS products. Our product enables delivery of simple and complex real-estate construction projects by connecting various stakeholders using advanced computer vision and data- and model- driven generative technologies.

In this role, you will gain deep insights into our current product offering and develop a very nuanced understanding of our market segments and user personas. You will use your product management, organization, and leadership skills to drive delivery in a hyper-growth startup with competing priorities.

This role is hybrid with expectation of working from our Princeton office as agreed.

You'll Get To
  • Lead the development of user requirements for renovation project specifications and vendor contracts for the multi-family real estate industry + use that understanding to design, develop, and implement a product roadmap
  • Partner with UX specialists to build mockups and prototypes for user requirements validations
  • Work with engineering leads to discuss architectural tradeoff, facilitate build vs. buy decisions, and drive a clear implementation roadmap
  • Lead agile team(s) and use data-driven project management to continuously improve execution
We're Looking For
  • Experience working in the construction and/or construction tech industry.
  • True owner who is a lean and agile software development practices champion
  • You desire to rapidly progress to a senior role
  • Prior experience building or testing B2B SaaS products for an early stage, venture backed startup
  • Proven experience with MERN or closely related software stack
  • Proven experience building or managing data-intensive and AI-embedded applications.
  • Prior proven experience with cross functional teaming across clients, operations and delivery, marketing, and engineering
  • Strong project planning and project management skills
  • Experience building real-estate construction management software is required
